Asparagus

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I made this great dinner after the boys, Moqui and I got home from the YMCA. I was so proud of the little white sole fish fillet rubbed with ginger, fresh orange zest, oil and juice, neatly packed in foil with fresh organic broccoli and asparagus. Of course these types of meals meet some resistance once at the table, I'm not real sure why, when they eat it all anyway?!?!

It's not like I haven't had asparagus before, certainly not often, but that day had been long and the first moment I had to myself to sit and relax was in the bathroom after putting the kids to bed. That's when I noticed it! My pee smelled just like asparagus! Immediately I thought I should remember to call Adam and tell him. If you know Adam, bodily functions of all types are a great conversation piece and are discussed often anyway.

Do you know what he said to me? "You didn't know!?" "No." I said. "So this is a well known fact is what your telling me, and I have been totally oblivious?" "Yeah, ask anyone in my family, ask Sarah, tell them that your pee smelled funny after dinner, they'll say... did you have asparagus." Well, there you have it. The moment I stop to relax for a moment and smell the.........asparagus, I mean pee, or I mean roses. I wonder what revelations come from those men who like to meditate while moving their bowels? Think about that one for a minute! HAHAHAH

1st day @ summer school!

So Ethan started his first day of summer school off with...pouting, whining, crying, running away and finally as a last resort utter protest, he sat in the middle of the dirt and refused to move. The night before was when it really started, although he knew it was coming and we talked about how great it would be, what fun he would have, none of it stopped his hour and a half pouting session.

Well I don't know if it was the right thing to do or not, but I forced him to go to class. I had to drop off Kaleb and Moqui with my younger brother that is thankfully home on summer break, turn right back around and sat with him in his class for 45min. His teacher discouraged parents from staying with good reason, however, he has been very clingy for the last few months. We've been home alone together for months, taking naps together, snuggling and such, so of course I expected him to fear more independence. But guess what, I left after a while and he had a great day. Tomorrow he wants to go to the cafeteria by himself and go to class with his teacher.

Ahhhh(big sigh), he's so grown up! He's my lil' baby boy, happy tears! :) So I took some pictures of all of us eating breakfast in the cafeteria.

Back To School!

So here is the brake down for going back to school. If all goes as planned I will be starting the Master Massage Therapist program in September. This program is a 1000 hours with core classes such as; kinesiology, pathology, craniolsacral, myofacial release, reflexology, therapist portfolio and so on.

The exciting part for me is the specialty courses, I can choose two different specialties to complete my degree, they are all so fantasticly wonderful this was a hard decision to make. However, I have decided to take the Zen Shiatzu (or Tui Na Asian Therapy) and Spa treatments. The spa treatments covers things like ayuvedic head massage, scrubs, lymphatic massage, stone therapy massage, aromatherapy and sedona swedish. Well you just cant go wrong there can you.

Both the boys will be in school and I am currently shopping for a quality daycare provider for Moqui. The classes are mostly in the morning and are 3-4 days a week from 8:30-12:30. There is still alot to smooth out befor September, so your prayers and loving support would be appreciated emmensly.

Thanks so much for caring, love and blessings to all of you divine beings.

Namaste.

What movie is your love like?

Your Love Life is Like The Princess Bride

"Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind."

For you, love is like a fairy tale - albeit a fairly twisted one.

You believe romance is all about loyalty, fate, and a good big of goofy fun.

Your love style: Idealistic yet quirky

Your Hollywood Ending Will Be: Perfectly romantic

Wouldnt You Like To Know!?!

Yeah, I know Emily, it's time for an update. Well to start Kaleb turned 6 on the 19th of May, we saw Shrek 3 in the theater and had pool fun at grandma Donna's. Kaleb also lost another tooth, top right, he looks like a fine jack-o-lanttern. This week is his last week in school. Ethan is ready for summer, everyone will be out of school and availible to play. I cant wait untill he starts school.

Moqui is taking her diaper off alot, playing with poo, and keeping Adam and I busy with the clean up duty. I swear that girl has almost a complete set of baby teeth, big baby teeth at that. All of the new teeth have broken thru the gum but are not finished rising yet. We just converted her bed into a toddler rail bed, she thinks it's great and has alot of fun playing nap and bed time games with mom and dad. She get's out 3 or 4 times befor she settles in to sleep. I'm proud of her, I can talk to her like a child (no baby talk), tell her it's time for bed, she grabs her blanket and sippy cup and crawl into her bed. We snuggle and kiss, put our hands together and pray with her befor bed. At first she would just watch, last week she started mirroring us, putting her hands together with her reverent face on. Lots of cuteness from this one.

Adam has been in Flagstaff working during the week for the last month untill last week. It was like a treat to have him around a little during the day, just coming home at night was a blessing I had taken for granted in the past. June we have a rough plan to stay in Flagstaff for the summer, Adam will paint, I might have oppertunity here and there to give treatments and we will all stay nice and cool. We are looking forward to riding bikes to all of our desired destinations, since Flagstaff is such a small cozy, bike friendly town. Sure would love to live there. We are in need of some outdoor family bonding time, Flagstaff is just what we need right now, seeing as Coolidge just does not have much to offer.

Anyone want to stay in my house for a month or 2? Yeah, that's what I thought!

Anyway, not much to report on me. Honestly there is nothing to report on me personally, pretty desperate for girls night thursday. That's it.
